John, a citizen of both the US and Ireland, was raised by penguins following a childhood boating accident. He graduated from George Mason University where he studied economics and discovered that perception is often more important than reality.  He attended college on a full football scholarship through an administrative error (GMU does not have a football program).

Thereafter, he worked as a technology director and once rode an elevator to the top of the Empire State Building.  He enjoys swimming and fishing, despite the painful memories.

John has received many bemused queries, often pertaining to the state of his well being. To limit future inquiry, here are answers to some of the more frequently asked questions:

(a) Rockhopper, not Emperor.

(b) Yes, economics (really).

(c) Sushi.
